DeBurrowβ β β―ͺββA really basic Gopher client for Android. Supports bookmarks and history, but not much else, and has some usability issues.
DiggieDogβ β β―ͺββAnother basic gopher client for Android, with key functions (bookmarks and downloads), but different usability quirks from DeBurrow. The only Gopher app I can still find in the Play Store.
Gopher Apps on AndroidI did find several Gopher clients for Android! But theyβre all incomplete, awkward, or rapidly losing compatibility. So Iβve gone back to Lagrange, which handles Gopher in a Gemini client better than Netscape ever did in a web browser.
Gophercleβ β βββExtremely minimalist Gopher app for Android with a retro feel to it, but missing some key features like being able to link out to the web and back from other apps. No longer available except in F-Droidβs archives.
Kristallβ β β β βCross-platform desktop browser for the small internet, including Gemini, Gopher and Finger. A little faster than Lagrange, but fewer features and hasnβt been updated in a while.
Lagrangeβ β β β β Lagrange quickly became my favorite Gemini client on the desktop with its clean and convenient UI, stability and speed across platforms. Also supports Gopher, Finger, Nex, and other small-internet protocols, and the mobile version works well too.
Overbite Gopher Clientsβ β βββA project to bring gopher to modern devices, which unfortunately seems to have been passed by again.
Pocket Gopher (Android)β β β―ͺββEven simpler than DiggieDog or DeBurrow, with a more usable interface, but hard to find and no longer installs on modern Android.
